The WILDLIFE STUDIO strives to stimulate and maintain the highest standards in promoting and developing the educational, scientific and social importance of Realistic Creation.

Taxidermy and all forms of realistic artistic creation, have always played a major role in the development and continuation of scientific discovery.

Scientific collections, on which our modern insight and understanding of evolution and natural diversity, are based, all reflect the dedication of long departed pioneers.

Countless past voyages of discovery, are still tangibly represented by these environmental collections.

In often adverse conditions, taxidermists, halted the natural degeneration process, that others may learn from these important discoveries.

For hundreds of years the techniques changed little, and even today, with all the benefits of modern insight, many old, tried and trusted techniques are still used.

The modern realistic creator is educated in many different disciplines.

Understanding of anatomy and the different behavioural aspects of individual species, remain the basic ingredient.

However in our modern society the role of the Taxidermist and Artist has diversified even further.

Road traffic victims are usually the nearest most people come to many wild birds and animals,

Unfortunately in this densely populated continent, there is an astonishing amount of wildlife killed on our roads each year,

If we are to better understand the influential factors in this situation, then it is important that we are in possession of all the facts.

Education has always been the main guideline.

For if we are to understand the magnificence of our environment, then we have to have studied it in minute detail.

By stimulating the positive relationships between environmental study groups, we intend to stimulate and exchange the wealth of scientific information that is available.

Museums and visitors centres, throughout the world, display the work of countless artists and taxidermists,

but also private individuals, who's personal memory becomes eternalised by creative intervention, display a respect for our natural surroundings, that credits our aspirations to

understand the delicate balance, in which we all play a part.

Through love for nature, total devotion and painstaking attention to detail.

The motivations of respect and concern for our natural heritage, have stimulated so many people to pursue an active interest in protecting our environment,

The Natural representation of our work, is as important to us now as it was at the dawn of scientific awareness,

For it is only by a better understanding of the diversity surrounding us, that we may effectively serve its purpose, ensuring that future generations, benefit from our mutual fascination.
